The legend comes to life on your desk!
Are you ready for a full immersion in the fantastic world of Steel and Magic?!
☑ a great alternative to computer games;
☑ two variants of the game: cooperative (command) and individual;
☑ for family leisure and for playing children (or adults) among themselves.
Players begin their journey from the City, which is threatened by the invasion of Manticore. Choose a hero to carry out the mission can be from 8 characters of four races, each of which has its own combat characteristics and abilities.
Exploring the map, the characters are laid in the Forest of the road to forest settlements and workshops, where there are magic armor and items that enhance combat characteristics. Only with magical armor and artifacts will the soldiers be able to defeat Manticore.
The study of the forest takes place using tiles with the image of the road, which are gradually laid out by the players on the field according to special rules. Each player paves the way for himself, but can also use the road laid by another player. Warriors should be careful: while exploring the forest one can stumble upon a monster that blocks the path (tile of a road with a monster image). With a monster you can fight, and, in case of victory, the characteristics of the character will increase. And it will help in the decisive battle with Manticore.
And now comes the decisive moment — Manticore awakens (the complexity of the game is determined by how much time there is for the players in the reserve) and on the fiery path goes to the City. Only real Heroes can become on its way and stop the invasion of dark forces. The victory over Manticore is the main goal!
The battle, both with monsters and with Manticore, takes place using a cube and random battle cards that determine which kind of attack (magic, melee, shooting) is used in this round. The first round of the Hero holds, using his "crown reception", but for all other rounds the type of attack is determined by the card.
Two game modes:
- Cooperative — is the ability for heroes to act as a team when they together defend the city against the invasion of Manticore, making the best use of the characteristics of each race.
- Individual - when the heroes can fight with each other, and the winner has the right to the trophies of the defeated opponent. It is quite possible that "there will be only one left alive", and he will fight with Manticore.
The author's design of this game will not leave anyone indifferent. He immerses in the fairy-tale world of the ancient forest and allows you to survive the fascinating legend, becoming its direct participant!

At Manticore, the magical characteristics are combined into one - magical powers, in fact, both the magical attack and the magical defense of the Manticore are 5 points. (vortex icon). When calculating its magical attack power or magical defense power, players use this “+5” characteristic.
What is a dice used for in the game? Only for a fight?
Yes, the dice is USED ONLY FOR DETERMINING THE RESULTS OF THE FIGHT. It is unusual for many players that characters DO NOT USE THE DICE TO MOVE on the map and this question is often asked. Once again we draw the attention of players - for movement on the map, attacks of opponents and monsters, players use their characters' initiative points.
How to make a character move? For example, the initiative is 3, does this mean that it is necessary to make 3 movements or can I make 2 and transfer the course to another one on this?
You can make 3 movements, or you can do less - this is your choice, but no more than the character has initiative points (the number on the card with the image of boots) + the power of the artifact with the boots (if the character has already taken it from the map).
Initiative points do not have to spend only on the movement, you can also engage in battle with monsters. For example, if a character has 3 points, it means that he can:
- move one cell and attack monster twice;
- or move 2 times and attack monster once;
- or move once and once attack the monster and pass the move without using the last point (but it burns down, and the next move the hero will only have them again 3)
Also using initiative points you can be treated: 2 initiative points allow you to recover 1 vitality point.
What are power points? They seem to be taken into account when fighting. How to get these points?
Is it possible to take 2 artifacts at once, then to “throw off” one comrade? And if you don’t throw off, how do you use 2 identical artifacts in your character?
Power points can only be obtained by killing a monster. After defeating a monster level 3 , the player takes 1 chip with a heart image (after winning a monster level 4 - 2 hearts) and puts it near any characteristics on his card, now it is considered 1 (or 2) stronger The magician's possession of the sword was equal to one, but, with the help of a power point, it became equal to two for the entire subsequent game.
2 artifacts can be taken only this way: artifact No. 1 is taken for yourself and laid out in the appropriate cell - this particular artifact will be counted / used by the hero in fights with monsters and / or heroes, artifact No. 2 is laid out on the free space on the hero card and this hero cannot be used at all, but it reduces his initiative by 1 unit - this is his burden. Therefore, taking the second artifact makes sense only when you plan to transfer it to another hero.
Two identical artifacts one hero can NOT use. If it so happens that he had two identical artifacts (for example, after defeating a monster), the player decides which of these artifacts to use - that is what he places in the corresponding slot on his character’s card. And the remaining artifact, he either drops, or loads on himself and carries, losing 1 point initiative.
Is it possible to take 2 identical spells to transfer to another or as a reserve?
Yes, you can take 2 spells, but the player places the spell No. 1 in the corresponding free slot of the character, and the spell No. 2 takes it as a burden and loses 1 point of initiative, while it bears it as a burden.
When an attack is made on me, can I use spells (fiery or icy) to count them, if available? Or are they just for attack? By the way, no matter what spell I use to attack or defend? Do they both fit?
Yes, a player can use a spell both in a MAGIC attack and in a MAGIC defense, there is no difference in the use of ice and fire, but it is possible to declare the use of a spell in combat only before the die roll.
